Zac (Xiang) Pan joined Lightspeed China Partners in 2013. He focuses on the firm's investment efforts across multiple sectors including internet, mobile, social community and education. Zac is actively involved with portfolio companies QingCloud, Huohua, PeerSafe, Likingfit, Che101, iEver, YiKuaiXiu and KangarooMaMa.
Previously, Zac worked at Steamboat Ventures where he actively participated in portfolio management and deal sourcing in a broad range of sectors including mobile, e-commerce, gaming, digital advertising, online travel and education. Prior to Steamboat Ventures, Zac started his career at China Renaissance, a leading boutique investment bank in China, where he actively helped to execute private placements and M&A transactions totaling over $200 million in proceeds working with some of the leading private consumer and technology companies in China.
Zac holds a B.S. in Instrument Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). At SJTU, Zac won several scholarships and awards, including the opportunity to study at the Stern School of Business in New York. He was named the Shanghai Outstanding Young Volunteer in 2008.
Zac is on the organizing committee of YVCC (Young Venture Capitalist Club), a club for young venture capitalists affiliated with CVCA.
